I grew up in the beautiful White Rock area and even graduated from Earl Marriott! I come from a family of teachers and know the Surrey School district well. I tutored White Rock and South Surrey students for years, but moved out of the area for a time - I had been tutoring based out of Richmond the past 3 years. I am glad to be back!
I am now located in Rosemary Heights - within about 15 minutes of White Rock and most areas of South Surrey. I own my own home with a dedicated study area for sessions, or do in-home visits with students. I have also met with students in a quiet public location such as the library. I also offer online sessions with Zoom video; some are more comfortable with this option still due to the pandemic, or out of convenience. Sometimes the distance is also not practical, and I do tutor students who live further away via Zoom.
The arrangement we make is whatever works best for the student.
I offer private, in person 1 on 1 tutoring sessions for Grade 8 Math through Grade 12 Math courses, including Workplace, Foundations and Pre-Calculus. The majority of my calls I get are for math.
My Master's Degree is mathematics-related. I also tutor English, as I have an undergraduate degree in English with Linguistics. Other subjects such as French are by request; I am a French Immersion grad. I have tutored at the college level and for various college entrance exams - such as for the trades, and American SATs.

I work with local students at Earl Marriott Secondary, Semiahmoo Secondary, Elgin Park Secondary, and Grandview Heights Secondary. I also tutor private school students such as at Southridge, students at traditional schools and religious schools, e.g. Catholic. Home school students enrolled in the BC Curriculum are also welcome. I do have long time students who live in other school districts like Langley and Richmond, for example, and we do our sessions online.
I have a couple slots open for afternoons and evenings during the week, and I tutor on weekends as well. I schedule regular time slots for my students and offer changes to the schedule and extra sessions as needed, such as for exams. I know families are busy and tests don't always align with the day chosen for tutoring sessions - so I am flexible.
